About the role

The AI Solutions Architect owns the shape of a solution. You sit between the client’s constraints and the delivery team, and you decide how the pieces fit: which models, which data flows, which integration points, and what has to be true for the system to run safely and affordably at scale.

You are technical enough to prototype and review code, and senior enough to be trusted in the room when a client CTO asks hard questions. You translate a business goal into an architecture the delivery team can build and the client can operate.

What you'll do

  • Design end-to-end AI solution architectures: data flow, model serving, integration, security, and cost.
  • Run technical discovery with clients and turn ambiguous goals into a buildable plan.
  • Set the technical direction for an engagement and keep the delivery team aligned to it.
  • Make the build-versus-buy and model-selection calls, and document the tradeoffs behind them.
  • Own non-functional requirements: latency, cost, security, compliance, and maintainability.

What we're looking for

  • 7+ years in software or ML engineering, including architecture ownership on delivered systems.
  • Hands-on depth in ML systems and in the cloud platforms they run on (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • A track record of designing systems that survived contact with production and scale.
  • The judgment to choose boring, robust designs over novel ones when the stakes are high.
  • Strong client-facing communication: you can defend an architecture to technical and executive audiences.

Nice to have

  • Experience architecting RAG, agentic, or multi-model systems.
  • Regulated-industry delivery with the security and compliance work it requires.
  • Working proficiency in Korean or Japanese.

How we hire

  1. 1

    Intro call

A short conversation about your background, what you want to work on, and how ASC works.

  2. 2

    Technical conversation

A working session on real problems in your area, closer to how we actually work than to a quiz.

  3. 3

    Team and offer

Meet the people you would work with, then a decision, usually within a week.
