About the role

An ASC engagement succeeds or fails on whether someone owns it. As an Engagement Lead you are that person: you run the relationship, keep the delivery team pointed at the outcome, and make sure what the client was promised is what gets shipped.

This is delivery leadership, not project administration. You will manage scope, risk, and expectations across a multi-week build with an ML and engineering team, working across the US, Korea, and Japan. You are the single point of accountability the client can call.

What you'll do

  • Own the client relationship and outcome across the life of an engagement.
  • Turn a signed statement of work into a delivery plan with milestones, owners, and risks.
  • Coordinate the delivery team (architects, ML, engineering) and keep them unblocked.
  • Manage scope and expectations, and have the hard conversations early rather than late.
  • Run handover so the client leaves with a working system and knows how to operate it.

What we're looking for

  • 6+ years leading technical delivery or consulting engagements, ideally in software or data.
  • A track record of delivered projects with satisfied clients, not just closed tickets.
  • The ability to hold both the commercial picture and enough technical detail to lead credibly.
  • Calm under pressure, and direct when a project needs a course correction.
  • Strong stakeholder management with technical and executive audiences.

Nice to have

  • Direct experience delivering AI or ML projects.
  • Cross-border delivery across the US, Korea, or Japan.
  • Working proficiency in Korean or Japanese.

How we hire

  1. 1

    Intro call

A short conversation about your background, what you want to work on, and how ASC works.

  2. 2

    Technical conversation

A working session on real problems in your area, closer to how we actually work than to a quiz.

  3. 3

    Team and offer

Meet the people you would work with, then a decision, usually within a week.
